Wow 2017

The Wow Stage brings the underground dance music acts to Silver Hayes. Covering an incredible range of tempos and styles whilst pushing new and emerging artists alongside more established names, it’s got all bases covered. The Wow’s legendary outside parties continue during the daytime over the Festival weekend – just make sure to get there early as it’s a popular Silver Hayes destination! We’ve pulled out a few highlights below, but check the main programme for full line up.

Getting things warmed up on Thursday night is Harvey Sutherland with his ‘Bermuda’ live band – a futurist outfit comprising Melbourne musicians Graeme Pogson (drums) and Tamil Rogeon (electric strings), bringing a unique energy to the club space.

Friday night sees long-time friend Jamie Jones return and also welcomes London-based, Belfast-born duo Bicep who need little by way of introduction – the pair will be performing their new live show for the first time at Glastonbury this year. Henrik Scwharz will be making his Glastonbury debut on Wow on Friday, followed by 10 years of Hessle Audio with Ben UFO/Pangea/Pearson Sound.

Another not to be missed Glastonbury debut from Rush Hour legends Hunee + Antal will make it the place to party on Saturday night.

Sunday will see a return from Mike Skinner with a DJ set, and Forest Swords will perform a live set on Sunday off the back of his critically acclaimed LP, with Digital Mystiks taking the closing Sunday night slot.

The legendary daytime parties will be back for 2017 with hosts including Artwork (Friday); R&S Records (Saturday) and Sunday will host an unmissable Lobster Boy Takeover.
